This song reminds me of my Ex, who long after we were no longer together wound up being good friends and stayed in touch from time to time. We talked every few months or few years. Then one day I called her and got no response. I texted her got no response. Ultimately I drove 4 hours to where she lived and she wasn't there. It really felt like this song. Then after months of investigation I found out that she was dead... I still miss her.
